Possible activities that can be included in program agendas:

      Bird watching, 1-3 hours
      Check crab traps, 1/2 hour
      Hiking
               Lighthouse, 2 + hours
               Gunmounts on West Beach, 1/2 hour
               Rock Jetty, 3/4 hour
               Tidal Pools, 1 hour
               Point, 2 hours
               East Beach, 3/4 hour
      Shelling, 1-3 hours
      Astronomy, 1 hour
      Beach seining, 2 hours
      Beach sweep for trash, 2-5 hours
      Salt marsh or tidal flat exploration, 2-4 hours

     The above are only suggestions. Many groups may have their own programs that they would like to conduct in a setting such as Cape Lookout. We request that groups bring their own instructor(s) to share teaching and leadership responsibilities with museum staff.
