Activities

Lighthouse Visits

The Cape Lookout light house was completed in 1859 and has seen a lot history plus some really big hurricanes. There is a museum and gift shop in the visitor's quarters and park rangers give regularly scheduled talks. Other historic properties included the old Life Saving Station and the head lighthouse keeper's quarters. The lighthouse is a favorite destination of photographers at sunset.
