Thanks you for your hospitality and willingness to provide educational opportunities for the Wind Energy seminar held at Cape Lookout this month. I had no idea I would receive such a bonus that you and the Solar Center put together in addition to a great technical seminar I needed for professional development. You went far beyond what was expected in hosting the seminar on the Cape, with you and Allen sharing biological knowledge and experiences, plus providing some outstanding cooking.

As a citizen of North Carolina, I am proud to have such professionals representing the state. In appreciation, I am enclosing a $250 check to be used in further opportunities in the Cape Lookout Studies Program. I hope in some way this contribution will help you and other students in efforts to improve the Cape and to keep it as a clean, environmentally sound place for natural inhabitants and visitors.
